I never use the straps--I only ordered it so I can have a decent bra to wear under halter tops and tube tops. It fits sort of tightly, but if you try to make it a little looser, your chest falls out. It's fine underneath empire shirts and dresses, with the seam as an added support, but underneath a tube top or a loose, strapless dress, it doesn't really work. It's better if you're going somewhere that requires a lot of sitting and standing still.
